CANCER PATIENTS
As you join us in saving the lives of people in Guatemala, whatever their circumstance, you are helping share God’s love and the message of the gospel—bringing hope to people in both practical and spiritual ways.
Esperanza de Vida, located in Guatemala receives shipments of medical supplies, equipment and humanitarian aid to be used by those in need in hospitals and clinics that treat cancer and other degenerative diseases. The hospital and clinics provide much needed medical care to approximately 23,000 cancer patients yearly; charging only the minimum amount, or in most cases Nothing, for fee needed to provide the medical care. The regions they serve are some of the over twenty targeted areas by the World Health Organization to combat various degenerative diseases. Some diseases are spreading at epidemic rates. The lack of properly equipped medical facilities and medical supplies further contribute to the ongoing challenge of saving lives. In addition, CARF works closely with representatives of these agencies to help respond to their on-going needs.
CONTRERAS CANCER FUND / OASIS OF HOPE RESEARCH HOSPITAL HOW WE HELP CANCER RESEARCH
”The Cancer Aid and Research Fund directs its efforts and resources towards supporting research programs, and hospitals that teach the public and place a high degree of emphasis on therapies for the treatment of cancer and other degenerative diseases.
The Cancer Aid and Research Fund supports research and patient treatment at the OASIS OF HOPE CANCER HOSPITAL located in Tijuana, Mexico. Oasis has become the hope for cancer patients. The Hospital received ongoing grants and support for its advanced integrated treatment programs. The Hospital offers support to patients based on a “Total Care” approach. Developed by Dr. Contreras Sr., this method of treatment is designed to combat cancer and other degenerative diseases, while at the same time improving the quality of life of the patient. The approach recognizes that a whole person has physical, mental, and spiritual needs. Nutrition, spiritual and psychological counseling, and an education program support the medical treatment. Cancer has one of the top success rates for being cured at the hospital.
Through funds provided by the Cancer Aid and Research Fund, the Oasis of Hope group of doctors and researchers are able to continue ongoing programs of research and patient treatment. The doctors treat the patient, not the disease. They provide therapies that not only attack the cancer, but will also equip the patient’s immune system to fight against cancer.
A special detoxification program creates the necessary environment for the body to get the best benefits. Nutrition combined with integrated therapies rebuilds the patients natural defense mechanism, which ultimately is the best system to restore wellness.
At the Oasis of Hope Hospital, their doctors have researched more than 75 different therapies over the last 30 years. They continue to seek out the most advanced, effective, and compassionate treatments available in the world for the treatment of patients with cancer. Their treatment programs are ongoing—a take home program is designed according to each patient’s unique needs and monitored on a continuous basis. The programs at the Oasis Hospital are eclectic and often include Mega-doses of Vitamins, organic foods, antioxidants, hormone therapy, neurological regenerating agents, and enzymes; all of which provide for the treatment of the whole patient. COMMUNITY FOOD PROGRAM THE 3000 CLUB
THE 3000 CLUB, located in Phoenix, AZ distributes fresh fruits and vegetables to needy people in Arizona. Cancer Aid and Research Fund promotes the prevention of cancer through people eating a healthy diet that is predominately fruits and vegetables. CARF donated $20,000 worth of fruits and vegetables to domestic individuals in the Phoenix area. Scientific research concludes that the best diet for preventing cancer is one that is low in fat and high in vegetables and fruits. Overall, one-third of the most common cancer problems can be prevented.
TOGETHER AGAINST CANCER
Together Against Cancer, located in Leicester, UK, practices complementary cancer therapies. Together Against Cancer (TAC) assist in the relief of persons with chronic illnesses, including cancer and similar or related diseases and conditions, by the provision of treatments including homeopathic and holistic remedies, and advancing education and raising public awareness about chronic diseases. TAC teaches healthy diet that is rich in organic fruits and vegetables. Other treatments include juicing for health, nutrition and workshops/ wellness sessions which include cooking videos, meditation videos, exercise and self-soothing, at the TAC Education and Wellness Center in Leicester.

Persons can become free members and examine all the different treatments which include Oncology, Body and Aromatherapy Massage. Other therapies, Reike, Reflexology, Acupuncture and EFT are included.

The mission of the Cancer Aid and Research Fund is to provide research grants, medical equipment, supplies and humanitarian aid to hospitals and clinics worldwide that treat cancer and other degenerative diseases. Cancer Aid and Research Fund also provides educational materials about cancer to patients and families. We’re working together to find a cure! An organization dedicated to helping cancer patients, supporting research into methods of treating cancer, and helping provide support to those institutions that continue the fight against cancer.
